AXA AFFIN GENERAL INSURANCE CONTINUES TO INCREASE ITS MOTOR INSURANCE VALUE PROPOSITION TO CUSTOMERS

Having introduced motor insurance innovations, AXA Motor For Her (the only car insurance dedicated for female drivers, offering free ride to next destination from scene of accident or breakdown, car delivery after repairs, and car window snatch theft cover) and AXA FlexiDrive (the pioneer telematics insurance in Malaysia), AXA Affin General Insurance (AAGI) continues to lead the way in Motor Insurance with the launch of “AXA Preferred Workshops”, its latest service to further enhance customer experience, convenience and safety for customers.

“AXA Preferred Workshops” are carefully selected and specially trained workshops, to offer superior customer experience when it comes to road assistance, accident-related services and claims. AAGI’s Motor Insurance customers can expect an array of value-added services, which include:

• Speed: Faster claims approval within 1-3 days and faster repair times
• Quality: High quality repair and workmanship
• Assurance: Original parts guaranteed with 12-months warranty period
• Safety: Dedicated AXA Road Rescue trucks and unlimited towing option (for selected add-on plans)
• Hassle-free: Free ride police station and home, and pick-up or car delivery service

AXA Preferred Workshops will also mobilize dedicated AXA Road Rescue trucks to assist customers who call for towing or roadside assistance.

Aisah Bevi Abdul Rahman, Chief Legal & Claims Officer said, “In addition to these benefits, we also encourage our customers to opt for selected add-on plans which provide drivers and passengers with up to RM100,000 coverage for accidental death and permanent disablement, and compensation for loss of personal belongings due to car window snatch theft. Customers will also enjoy unlimited towing services in the event of accident or breakdown.”

AAGI has embarked on a major transformation project to strengthen its claims services. Back-end processes have been enhanced and AAGI now commits to settle motor claims below RM5,000 in 4 working days, and those above RM5,000 in 6 working days.
